MEI (Mass Education Initiative)

MEI Society was registered with the state of Andhra Pradesh Govt., India in 2011 as a non-profit organization working in the field of Education.

To bring good quality Education and Vocational skills to the Weaker sections of Indian society.

To build an effective human workforce equipped with market-oriented skills
To bring on one platform the non-profit organizations serving the Weaker sections in the field of Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurial Training in India.
To collate the effort of the organizations and help them understand best practices in their field of work, and to bring efficiency and synergy among them.
To provide a visionary outlook and steer the organizations in a progressive direction
To critically assess the Central and State Govt.’s policies on Education and Vocational/Entrepreneurial Training and suggest reforms
To assess the working of the Central and State Govt.’s Vocational training centers and help improve them.
To work with the political parties and civic organizations for an increase in allocation of funds for Education and for Vocational Training.
To help the non-profit organizations in the teaching of English and Computer literacy, Soft-skills and Career guidance.
To work with the private business and industrial sector and identify skills that are in demand and build a database of the same
To establish business relationship between Industry and local Training centers towards creation and absorption of Apprenticeships, Internships and jobs.
To serve as a forum for Teachers learning and discussion
To serve as a channel for Online Training
